To take full advantage of  Match Properties while working on multiple open design drawings, use the command Ctrl + Tab to conveniently access several open drawings in progress.  This handy command allows you to easily move from one drawing to the next, and can even automatically matches selected objects in one drawing to others.  In addition, it also can import various layer functions including color, line type, and other related properties from one page to the following pages if so desired.
